  Watchtower May 2024 Who is being referred to as 'we'?

  this is the magazine that presents some of the 'new light' from the oct. 2023 annual meeting.

  it discusses some of the things they have now decided they don't know and revised some of the things they do know, or think they know.

  when they start discussing some of the things they do know, most of them are still guesses and they use qualifiers.

  Door to Door

  just wondering if the witnesses still go door to door.

  once in a while i see them doing their cart work and my still in relatives talk about going out in cart work, never mention door to door.

  i haven't had a knock on my door since probably 2 years before covid.

  the last time i had 2 young bros call was not long after the AM3 surprise--they obviously knew nothing about it--so i told them. Not seen any since. Before covid it was every few weeks. Ive had several letters--hand written, very childish writing.

  please, please ignore all the scientific impossibilities here, that's not what this topic is about.. let's make the assumption as many christians do that the bible is historically accurate.

  the noachian flood actually happened a little less than 4,500 years ago after which eight adults stepped off the ark to repopulate the planet.. that means that approximately 60 million lives had been snuffed out, a holocaust by anyone's estimation.

  as if that isn't horrific enough just think about the babies, toddlers and young children god killed.. he drowned all of them, every single one.

  i had an old account a few years back but since then have had a lot happen to me.

  i grew up in the faith, pioneered, did everything i could to keep my parents and peers off of my back, but nothing seemed to be enough to satisfy them.

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  Would the GB be that ruthless? Possibly. Would they have the balls? Probably not.

  They wouldnt even need to know. It could be whoever has their hands up the GB backside pulling the strings arranged it.

  Not impossible. Given that he's disappeared without a trace. Would the GB be that ruthless? Possibly. Would they have the balls? Probably not. No, there's been a great coverup involving lots of NDAs and other legal undertakings. Their ability to keep a lid on this when so much else leaks like a sieve is impressive.

  Didnt Raymond Franz slip or trip over in his driveway and was fatally injured. Did anyone witness it ?

  The Date for the Memorial is WRONG this year!

  an interesting video was on youtube with a person claiming that the memorial date for 2024 was wrong.

  so i consulted three different jewish calendars online and sure enough, he appears to be right.

  i went back to 2014 and forward to 2027. they have the future dates listed.

  i could never understand the words "see" a new moon. Surely the new moon is not visible--its in full shadow.

  How do JWs know that less than 150,000 Christians existed before the 20th Century?

  according to watchtower, only anointed christians existed between the first and 20th centuries.

  the great crowd of other sheep only began forming after the 20th century started.. how do they support this conclusion?

  i cant quite remember the bit in the bible where Jesus refers to his bride being 144,000 virgin men, but i wont lose sleep over it.

  In due course some lower echelon Gov Bod helper speaking at an assembly will use the words "144,000" and "symbolic" in the same sentence--and the rest will become history.
